Craig and Ju

Could you provide a loan or donate to a deposit fund to enable Craig and Ju to serve in Reading?

We are so thankful that Craig has recently been appointed as the permanent, full-time pastor of our church, which is based on a multicultural housing estate in Reading. It is a great privilege for our family to serve Jesus here, in a diverse community where there are many practical challenges and wonderful opportunities to share the hope of the gospel.

Alongside Craig's pastoral ministry, Ju leads the teenage work, serves in children's ministries, and is undertaking ministry training through the South-Central Gospel Partnership. Our four children are also actively involved in church life, building friendships and relationships across the congregation and the wider community.

Our desire is to be part of the everyday life of the estate: to build friendships, share in the joys and challenges of our neighbours, be available when people need us, and have more opportunities to speak about Jesus.

At present, we live too far away from the church and the community in which we serve. We believe that living within that community would be a significant help to our ministry and family life. The Lord has put it on our hearts to live among the people as a visible and accessible Christian presence within the community.

To help Craig and Ju continue in their ministry, they are looking to buy a house in the Reading area so that they can have a permanent home and put down roots within the community they serve.

A suitable home for Craig, Ju and their family in the area will cost around £500,000, which is more than they can afford. Craig and Ju are therefore partnering with Mission Housing – a Christian charity that enables key Christian workers to afford accommodation.
