Leanne & Tom

Leanne approached Mission Housing in October 2022 to explore whether she might be able to buy a home to put down roots in the community she loves and serves. It was a delight to see how many people stepped in to journey with them to purchase, pledged loans and gave donations towards their deposit.

Another Mission Housing associate in the area was looking to move their ministry, and we were able to reassign the shared ownership lease to Leanne and Tom in January 2026, after a long and laborious purchase (which can be the case in this climate). A perfect solution!
