“Will and Lucy have done an outstanding job leading the youth ministry. The youth ministry has 120 regular members and is in contact with up to 180 children who come from 19 churches across inner London. Will has also become a leader of leaders in the Youth worker ‘world’. His experience and expertise are widely appreciated amongst youth works in the Southeast of England. As their family grows up, it has become important for them to move out of their 3 bed flat so that they and their children have space for ministry, study and family life. Will and Lucy are reliable, trustworthy and full of integrity.”

William Taylor, St Helen’s Bishopsgate

Could you provide a loan or donate to a deposit fund for Will and Lucy and their family to put down roots in inner London?

Both Will and Lucy are deeply committed to their work in Bishopsgate. Will is the youth work lead overseeing all ministry with 11-18s and Lucy is a youth worker with the same group. Will and Lucy’s work is highly relational, combining teaching, mentoring, pastoral care, and leadership development of both the young people and the youth leaders they support through a variety of activities.

They actively work with local secondary schools engaging with students to support their personal and spiritual development and encouraging Christian students in sharing the gospel with peers. They run regular residentials offering the youth opportunities for deeper fellowship, teaching and fun in a more immersive setting.

We invite you to partner with Will and Lucy in this step of faith. Specifically, they are seeking loans to secure affordable and long-term housing in inner London for their family, enabling them to remain embedded within the church community and use their home to serve this work.

Will & Lucy are committed to serving God in inner London and need to find a permanent home. They love the work that they do and long for a home that can be a stable and secure base for their work and hospitality to flourish.

A home suitable for their requirements will cost in the region of £950,000 – which is more than they can afford. That’s why they are working in partnership with Mission Housing – a Christian charity that enables key Christian workers to buy a shared ownership.

Could you provide a loan to enable Will & Lucy to permanently move into the community they love to live and work in?
